4.1.1 募款数额
Amount of donation
如下图所示，OCEF 在过去5 年中捐款呈波状起伏。筹款额从2005 年的$242,411.00 逐
年爬升， 2006 年为$299,609.91，2007 年筹款$456,124.36。及至2008 年因中国四川
地震
带来的大量捐款，OCEF 的筹款数额达到5 年间的第二高峰，$512,684.37；2009 年的
筹款数额为$394,908.64；2010 的筹款则达为$601,903.61，漲幅52.41%。由于2009 年
末的Facebook American Giving Challenge 的大部分捐款（$173,681.62）以入账日期
为凖计入201
0 财政年度善款收入，如按筹款 时间计算，2009 年度实际募得款项为$568,590.26, 2
010 年度实际募得款项为$428,221.99，换言之，2010 年筹款数额较2009 年下降24.69

As shown in the graph below, donations received by OCEF in the past five yea
rs have fluctuated. From $242,411.00 in 2005, donation has gradually risen t
o $299,609.91 in 2006 and further to $456,124.36 in 2007. With a large
amount of funds received because of the Sichuan Earthquake, donation receive
d by OCEF has reached its second peak in history to $512,684.37 in 2008. Don
ations have been $394,908.64 in 2009 and $601,903.61 in 2010, a 52.41% rise
over the previous year. However, a large portion of donation brought in by F
acebook American Giving Challenge, totaling $173,681.62, was included in the
2010 fund as it was recorded in fiscal year 2010. If recorded by the actual
donation date, the numbers will change to $568,590.26 in 2009 and $428,221.

sed by 24.69% from previous year.

4.1.2 善款来源的国家和地区
Countries and regions where funds came from
在2005-2010 年间，OCEF 的善款来源于22 个国家和地区，其中，美国一直是最大的捐
款来源国，至少有$1,175,961.01 的善款是在美国募得，占57.80%。有39.48%的捐款则
无明
确来源地区。加拿大是OCEF 的第二大捐款来源国，募得$25,940.25，占5 年筹款总额
的1.28%。其余地区按募款数额由高至低，依次为：中国、英国、韩国、德国、日本、
新加坡、香港、新西兰、澳洲、沙特、法国、泰国、阿联酋、瑞典、丹麦、荷兰、瑞士
、马来西亚、爱尔兰和台湾。
Between 2005 and 2010, OCEF has received funds from 22 countries and regions
. The United States of America has always been the largest source of contrib
utions; at least $1,175,961.01 was channeled through the USA, or 57.80% of t
he total. Origin of 39.48% of the funds can not be identified. Canada is the
second largest source of donations with $25,940.25 or 1.28% of the total fu
nds. Other regions include China, the Great Britain, South Korea, Germany, J
apan, Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia, France, Th
ailand, the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Denmark, Netherland, Switzerland,
Malaysia, Ireland and Taiwan, ranked by the amount of donations received.
4.1.3 捐款人数
Population of donors
2005-2010 年期间，共有超过4,848 位记录在案的捐款人向OCEF 捐款，另有无数匿名捐
款人。如下图所示，捐款数额在$100 以下的捐款人占捐款人数的40.7%，而这个区段的捐
款人绝大多数为冲动型捐款人(Impulse Donor),换言之，5 年中只做出一次捐赠，捐出
款项占5 年善款总额的4.26%。 而且这类捐款人多集中在2005 年和2008 年，相信这与
中国内地当年的天灾有关。占捐款人数第二多的是捐赠$100 的捐款人，他们占到捐款
人总数的15.49%。同样，这个区段的捐款人也属于冲动型捐款人，而且有超过1/3 集中
在四川地震的2008 年。但可以看到，这个区段的多次捐赠的人数有所上升，有15%左右
的捐款人做出2 次捐赠行为。(注：统计数字及图表未包括匿名捐款人)
Between 2005 and 2010, there have been over 4,848 recorded donors and numero
us anonymous donors. As shown in the graph below, patrons with contribution
below $100 make up 40.7% of total donors and they are mostly impulse donors,
in other words, they've made one single donation in the past five years. To
tal funds received from this type of patrons account for 4.26% of total dona
tions. Moreover, the majority of this type of donations was received in 2005
and 2008; it is probably related to the natural disasters happened at that
time. The second largest group of donors is patrons who made $100 contributi
on, who accounts for 15.49% of total donor population. Similarly, patrons in
this category also belong to impulse donors, with over 1/3 of donation taki
ng place in 2008 when the Sichuan Earthquake occurred. It is also noticed, h
owever, that the number of patrons who made multiple donations in this categ
ory has been rising, with 15% of patrons making at least two contributions.

接下来是捐赠人数占15.28%的$100-200 区段，这个区段的捐款数额占总额的6.03%，且
有超过5 成捐款人捐款次数为两次和两次以上。如果OCEF 能够在今后一两年内和这部
分捐
款人保持良好的互动，可望将他们转变为OCEF 的习惯性捐款人（Habitual Donor）。
再往
上，有12.56%的捐款人在$200-500 这个区段，他们在过去5 年捐出的款项占9.3%。这
个区段的捐款人大部分是习惯性捐款人，7 成人捐款次数超过3 次，其中不乏连续4 年
甚至5 年向OCEF 捐款的热心支持者。
The next category is patrons with contribution between $100 and $200. Popula
tion of patrons in this category makes up 15.28% of the total population whi
le funds from this type of patrons account for 6.03% of the total donation.
Furthermore, over 50% of patrons in this category have made at least two don
ations. If OCEF is able to maintain sound interaction with this type of patr
ons in the next two years, they are likely to be converted to Habitual Donor
to OCEF. The next category of patrons with donation between $200 and $500 m
akes up 12.56% of total patron and accounts for 9.3% of total donations. The
majority of patrons in this category are Habitual Donors, with over 70% of
patrons who have made over three contributions; including many passionate pa
trons who have been making donations for four or five consecutive years.
上到$500 这个阶段，情况又有所转变。这个区段的捐款人占人数的2.66%，捐出3.19%的
善款。但这个区间的习惯性捐款人下降到2 成。也即大部分捐出$500 的捐款人只是一
次性
捐赠，无后续跟进行为。这些捐赠多发生在2005 年和2008 年。
The pattern changed with the category of patrons with $500 contribution. T
his category accounts for 2.66% of donors or 3.19% of funds. But Habitual Do
nors in this category decreased to 20%, which means the majority of patrons
in this category made one contribution without any follow-up activities. Mos
t of the donations occurred in 2005 and 2008.

在$500-$1000 区段，占人数7.12%的人捐出12.76%的善款。捐款超过两次的习惯性捐款
人人数又回复到9 成。而且，这个区段的捐款人在2010 年亦有捐款。同时，这个区段
开始
出现公司配对捐款和基金会捐赠。
Patrons who have made donations between $500 and $1000 account for 7.12% of
the total population or 12.76% of total funds. Habitual Donors, or donors wh
o have made at least two donations, again make up 90% of total patrons in th
is category. In addition, patrons in this category have also made donations
in 2010. Moreover, company match and donations from charitable foundations s
tarted to show up in this category.
最后是占捐款总额60.77%的$1000 以上捐款，共有300 位捐款人，占人数的6.19%。这批
捐款人多数是理性型捐款人(Thoughtful Donor)。他们认同OCEF 的理念，连续多年向
OCE
F 做出大额捐赠。这个区段的公司配对捐款，公司和基金会捐款占到3 成。
Finally, there have been 300 patrons with contributions over $1000, which ac
counts for 6.17% of donor population and 60.77% of total funds. The majority
of donors in this category are Thoughtful Donors who identify with OCEF's v
ision and mission and have made large amount of contributions year over year
. Company match and contributions from corporations and charitable foundatio
ns account for 30% of contributions in this category. | z********e
