When You See a Bear
Never approach any bear, regardless of its size. If you encounter a bear,
act immediately. Throw objects at it from a safe distance. Yell, clap your
hands, and bang pots together. If there is more than one person, stand
together to present a more intimidating figure, but do not surround the bear

发帖数: 2728 | 7 昨天在网上买了bear spray，一瓶快30块。。。买了两瓶。现在担心的是可能去的时候
找不到camp site，因为没法周五
早早去，可能要在public land找个地方歇息，，，bear spray一定要带的了，反正有
些担心。
希望下周末first come first serve的camp ground都没满员。。

发帖数: 401 | 8 我觉得应该不用吧，bear spray 好像主要用于对付 grizzly bear. Sequoia NP 应该
只有black bear。Black bear比较小，
一般也不会攻击人。

them maybe the same because at different time at the similar location. on
the way to and from the non handicap parking lot for the general sherman
tree. the other two at the shuttle buses on the way to moro rock and
crescent meadow.
the bears are not that scary. they are kind of small also. they also visited
the camp ground we stayed THREE TIMES, maybe same bear, maybe different
ones. people used the car alarms, banging |

spray them anyway. maybe bring a air horn or something light and will make
big big noise with you. that's better.

seen more bear in sequoia than yosemite or yellow stone.
also, drive slowly. they do run across the road. you dont' want to run into
them, literally.

一眼后又去吃草了. 还是带上bear spray, 起码放心一点. |

我们回来才寄到。 |

bike and also use it while hiking at bear areas.

发帖数: 2728 | 19 回来了，一只熊都没见到。，，
不过Sequoia在我们看来一般般，大树看了拍个照片就完了。。临走前无意在visitor
center里看到kings canyon的介绍，就临时决定开遍kings canyon。结果是很庆幸这么
做了，kings canyon要好看多了，险山峻水的。可惜只能开车走一遍，打算以后再在不
同季节去，还可以多做些其他的活动，钓鱼和backpacking啥的。。。。
