非游记。将旅途的一些得失存个档，给大家参考，也给自己以后再去备案。
行：
虽说从湾区开过去也不算很远，但是考虑到年纪一把，还是轻松点的好。非旺季时，去
Vegas的机票往往超级便宜，$49单程。可是我们要赶在thanksgiving去，三张机票就拍
出去$900多，肉痛。
如果只是在Vegas玩，车的确是不用租的。我们因为要去national parks，所以租车就
是必须了。出发前在national car怎么都订不到便宜的车，只好priceline bid。车是
Hertz的，有选择的话，强烈不建议定他家的车。我是national的emerald member，
bypass frontdesk习惯了。在Hertz排队超过大半个小时，等的我心烦意乱。Hertz的员
工说话很不直接，总是拐弯抹角回答你的问题，车也不好。（-）
LV所有hotel的parking都离registration暴远！！！！！
住：
我们这次算是考察行好了，四天住了四个hotels。呵呵~ 够BT吧
Paris：Premium Redroom。Not impressive at all。
Caesars：Upgraded to Augustus Suite。very nice。with Jacuzzi and TV IN THE
BATHROOM! 大堂也喜欢
Excalibur：widescreen room。2星水准吧。倒没觉得有烟味，只能当作歇脚的地儿。
Best Western Grand @ Bryce：Upgraded to suite。房间陈设一般，但比较新，毛巾
很多很多。有free的网和早餐。值！对面的Ruby Inn更有历史，看建筑似乎也更有特点
。但是review不如Grand好，不知道是不是比较旧的原因。
Tips：这次出行，totally把Sandwich trick这件事给忘了。不然不会每天换店。Paris
和Caesars我都给了tip for upgrade。Caesars应该是最容易接受tip的地方。最初没有
给我upgrade到augustus，我又厚脸皮要了一下。Best Western和Excalibur都要了
upgrade，但是没给tips。
以后出去，价格合适，一定住caesars，然后要求upgrade。Bellagio也会去试试。
吃：
恨死排队的buffet了。
La Villege: 排了1个小时左右，吃中上。
Spice Market: 楼上排了45分钟，楼下又排了45分钟，吃中等。这还是晚上8点才到的
队伍。不推荐！（如果很喜欢吃crab legs，那就排队吧）
Bellagio：well，没去。本来打算最后一天去的，实在怕了排队了，就放弃了。
Bryce Ruby's Inn：没什么好吃的，做好心理准备。早餐还不错，对得起2星的档次啦。
Tips: 一定在去之前搞到VIP卡 pass line，或者厚脸皮要别人带着进去。不然对于我
们这种不赌的家庭真的很折磨。或者两家轮流排队也许还OK。
穿：
不是考虑fashion，考虑保暖啊。
白天在Bryce，气温很低。但是因为有阳光，有运动，一点都不冷。这次我把大家武装
的跟粽子一样，其实没有必要。手套最好戴一副。晚上出去就要多穿一点，很冻。
在LV，有太阳就很暖和，没太阳就有点冷。
不过到处都是商店，随便买一件也行。
如果坐飞机去，实在没必要pack太多衣物。
LV：
基本上从南走到了北。
看看玩玩还是不错的。
内景：Caesars比Paris好看。Venetian也不错。
外景：都可以随便看看玩玩。
Bellagio的fountain show：一定一定要看！
show：这次没看。打算下次淡季去看O show，两家一起就可以看Jubilee。
Hoover Dam：
来回时间比预计的要久。tour需要排队。计划的时候别忘了把时间留足。
还是挺impress的，80年前就能建造这样的工程。
大桥上走走逛逛。
Zion：
我们到的有点晚。老公评价，就跟北京十渡，野三坡差不多嘛。呵呵
公园棕红的路跟周围融为一体，不错的设计。
没有hiking。以后要去，就选春夏，可以走narrows，angel's landing吧。
Bryce：
很喜欢。
走了最popular的Navajo / Queens Combo. 人家建议2-3个小时，考虑我们平地1个迈还
要1个小时，就预算了4.5小时。最后多走了一段去wall street，3.5迈走了不到4个小
时，很满意。
可惜冬季wall street close了。不能在里面走。等下次吧。
除了trail，每个view point都很容易access。非常赞！
走trail，移步换景，很值得走。
还开去南端看了natural bridge。
遗憾一是没走wall street；遗憾二三是：没有晚上去看星星，没有早上去看日出。
据说日出超棒，日落一般。
有horseback riding，但是要至少7岁。
amphetheater定期有活动，出行前可以调查一下。
糗事：特地带了我的Garmon 305 GPS watch去hiking。结果没电了:(
流水帐先到这里吧。
忘了：关于coupon
hotel发的coupon都没啥有用的。
show的discount可以到tix4tonight去买。但是早去，去的晚我看到又要排队。
我们这次在LV活动并不多，最后就没用coupon，不然，可以省个50块钱？
hotel的rate，我找到最好的是从LVA。这次Paris $49, Caesars $70 |

主要是那些服务员说话很绕弯，不爽
当然，我就是很痛恨排队:p

Zion这个季节去比较一般，当然也是见仁见智的事情。我们没hike angles landing。

Next day, play or hike at Bryce from morning to afternoon, then leave for
Arches, may stay some where between Bryce and Arches for the night.

we left LV around 11:30, drived through Zion scenic drive. We did plan to
hike weeping rock, the shortest trail. But it was too slippery and it was
getting dark.
We arrived Bryce around 7:30 or so. Had buffet at Ruby's Inn. Strongly
suggest you drive to Bryce after dinner to see the sky!
We hiked the family friendly navajo-queens trail, no wall street though,
only got to the point and had to go back.still have enough time to drive
through the rest of the park. :)
Strongly suggest you get up early to see the sunrise!!
and drove back to LV, arrived around 7:30pm.

the winter time.
1. wear your ski pants
2. wear a gore tex hiking boots
3. wear a winter hiking glove
4. wear a soft shell jacket
5. wear a dome hat
6. bring a pair of trekking poles
7. buy a snow trax stuff from costco

be careful and think through before you hike on snow or ice surface in those
NP.
For angles landing of zion, it is not wise at all to hike in this season.
YOU NEED TO USE CRAMPON TO KEEP YOU SAFE ON IT. If you do not know what is
crampon, come back at spring time next year. |

Thanksgiving, too. Unfortunately, I felt down on the icy trail at Zion NP
and realized how important to wear the right gear!!! An American couple
passed by and lent me a trekking pole. They were very nice in complimenting
my fall was very graceful:-) |
