发帖数: 4787 | 4 too late le, when you in crisis, you will see how everything is not working your way. Airline tel line waiting time 2hr, airport closed, online search for other flight same day arriving FLL before 3:30pm none (ship embark cut off 4pm)
Anyway, thanks for your advice, it is just my bad luck.

毕竟船票是大头
现在和船公司商量一下，能不能退票或者改一趟船，毕竟这个是特殊情况。当然很可能
船公司说他们没有责任，但是死马也只好当活马医了。

it is not that i don't want to pay for the one way ticket to fll, in fact, i
want to pay for about 1.6k flying to grand cayman if visa is not a issue
for parents.
i did not check every airport around us, but i did check major ones like
columbia,mo, springfield,IL, kansas city and chicago: kansas had a direct
flight to fll arriving 2:30pm, but it is fulled booked. And the rest of
flights don't give us enough time to get there before ship embark on 4pm.
anyway, i learned my my lesson. :-)

我还以为是明天的船，想可以有机会赶上呢
以后还是像大多数人一样，提前一天去fll/mia吧，住一晚
这样万一出现航班延误(stl这次极端了些），还有一定回旋的余地
毕竟船票一般比机票贵
