I don't own a car or long-term car insurance.
what's the best way to buy liability insurance for such 2-3 week car rental ?
I know those car rental companies sell liability for $12-18 per day, a

expensive.
Any suggestions?

urance for your own car before you rent the rental car
make sure you get liability and cdw for your rental, could be way less
expensive if anything happens, in case
