better. The three places (LAX, Hollywood, Chinese food in Alhambra or
Monterey Park) you listed are at least 30 mins away by car with little
traffic. Downtown may be a good mid-point but not a place to hang around at
night. I usually stay in Pasadena to be close to food, :)
Las Vegas has tons of themed hotels on the strip. Paris and Ballagio are
central in the strip, on the two ends there're Venetian, Wynn or MGM. You
can select the hotels with the show of your interest, there may be ticket
discount for hotel guest.
