In the language of the bible, Hebrew, the words belief and trust are very
similar, almost the same. Trust in Hebrew is EMUN while belief is EMUNA.
Maybe this similarity is the basis for the so common confusion between these
two important words.
So what is the difference between the two words?
Belief is religion.
trust is spirituality.
Belief is intellectual.
Trust is mental.
In trust you surrender.
in belief you preserve (or even enhance) control.
From belief you expect to earn something |

透露一下，本版的名字最初是本人提出的，但其实是我在征求我老公的时候，他建议的
，最初我也说believing in Jesus.他说 Trust 更好。我就说，嗯，听起来是挺好。
现在才知道是这样的区别，谢谢。 |

发帖数: 1334 | 7 我觉得有时候人想问题的时候把概念和语词的关系弄颠倒了，语词是人发明出来用来表
达概念的，有一定的活动性。这篇文章里讲的是两个概念之间的差别，但是否要把这两
个概念的差别一定要归于believe和faith这两个语词之间的差别，以至于believe变成
一个近乎贬义的词呢？我觉得这不是我们通常用believe这个词的时候表达的概念，这
么做弄出很多混乱来，英文圣经的翻译本里满篇都是believe这个词，将believ做这种
贬义的诠释搞得圣经都没法读了。我觉得就辨析“某些人对believe这个词的不正确理
解”和“圣经里面believe这个词所表达的和神心意的概念”比较好。
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with

Believing is from an unbeliever to a believer. Trusting is from a new
believer to a mature Christian. As here made it clear.
So "trust" is better for our board.

我想原贴主是为了强调trust有委身交托的意思，而believe一般没有这一层意思。而我
转这个贴，是因为看见有人说为什么不把版名改称"believe in Jesus“。我个人觉得
trust in Jesus更好:)。当然，这个trust和believe的细微差别不能因此就机械运用到
解经里面去！
我每次想到这两个词，就想到两个电视里看到的场景，呵呵：
场景一：小女生挥泪大喊：“How could you do that! I I trust you! I love you!
”泪奔....
场景二：爸爸误会了姐姐，姐姐很难过，说：“No one believes me!”
妹妹说：“Don't cry. I believe you."
姐姐说：”why?"
妹妹说：“When you lie, you look at the top of my head. But
this time, you look straight into my eyes."
