We need to pay attention to what Jesus prayed. Calvinists may use John 17:9
to support the doctrine of "limited atonement". I like banzhu Dignity a lot
because last time Dignity rebuked JYM when JYM used this verse to prove tha
t God only love his "select".
By comparing John 17:9 and John 17:20, we can see God the father only "gave"
Jesus his disciples, not All Believers. If the "elect" were predestined tob
elieve in Jesus Christ, Jesus could simply pray for all "elect" in one verse
.
