March 22 (Bloomberg) -- The Senate Banking Committee passed Senator
Christopher Dodd’s plan for overhauling U.S. financial- industry rules
without considering amendments, setting the stage for a floor fight on the
measure after bipartisan talks failed.
The committee voted by 13-10 to approve legislation offered last week by
