Diversapack will shutter an area facility in March, resulting in 173 layoffs
. The manufacturing plant — located at 801 N. Garver Road in Monroe — will
close March 5, according to a filing with the state of Ohio.
Commack, N.Y.-based Diversapack makes flexible packaging products including
foils, films and innovative laminations. The company provides bags, roll
stock labels and pouches for the food and beverage, military, consumer
products and health and beauty industries, according to its Web site.
Its Monroe operation handles contract manufacturing.
The company also has regional locations in Batavia and Cincinnati. |
