rating over 50% which is very rare among all governors. just google "chris
christie approval rating"
Why does he get so high support in a deep blue state? because NJ people (no
matter he/she is dem or GOP) know Christie is solving problems, fighting
against union， reducing deficit and creating jobs!
similarly, NY democratic governor Cuomo also gets high approval rating and a
lot of republican support because he is doing the same things like Christie
does in NJ.
Really, nothing to do with parties. You gotta do the right things and solve
the problems. That is called leadership. For O8, if he does the same things
as Cuomo/Christie do, most of Americans would support him and he would get
re-elected by doing the good things. But unfortunately, he decided to go
different route of bringing this "class warfare" as his campaign theme to
get re-elected, which harms the country deeply.
