Lara Logan, a correspondent for CBS’ 60 Minutes, spoke to nearly 1,100
movers & shakers from government, politics, media, legal, and corporate
arenas at the annual Better Government Association luncheon.
Her message was hardly the one expected from a current day media repeater.
But Lara Logan has a unique perspective on Islam.
She was gang raped at the very beginning of the Arab Spring (and yes, I am
being massively sardonic) and unlike Mona Eltahawy, a freelance Egyptian-
American commentator based in NYC, who was also gang raped and injured, Lara
has seen the truth about Islam.
Mona continues to fight free speech so that the lies of Islam go
unchallenged. Lara’s message in her 30 September report, The Longest War,
which examines the Afghanistan conflict and exposes the dangers of Islam to
America.
Lara says Muslims still hate us. More than ever. Despite the lies of Obama,
the Taliban and Al-khyda have not been decimated.
I chose this subject because, one, I can’t stand, that there is a major
lie being propagated . . . There is this narrative coming out of Washington
for the last two years, is from Taliban apologists who claim the
Talibanis are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban. It’s such
nonsense!
Lara interviewed John Allen, the top US commander in Afghanistan; Afghan
President Hamid Karzai, and a Taliban commander. Lara said made the case
that US government is downplaying the strength of our enemies in Afghanistan
and Pakistan, in order to extract us from the longest war America has ever
fought.
Lara criticized the Obama regime;
You’re not listening to what the people who are fighting you say about
this fight. In your arrogance, you think you write the script.
Lara claimed our enemies are writing the story and there’s no happy ending
for Americans. She called for retribution for killings of Christopher
Stevens, the US ambassador to Libya, and three other officials.
The event reveals our vulnerability, she said. Lara also hoped that America
will exact revenge and let the world know that the United States will not be
attacked on its own soil. That its ambassadors can not be murdered (without
consequence), and that the United States will not stand by and do nothing
about it...
Yes, libtard heads are spinning. Frankly, I am surprised CBS let Lara make
the Longest War. Perhaps it means a return to real journalism. I realize
that Lara’s report is not objective but it tells the other side of the
story. That’s a start toward balanced, fair, and truthful reporting. | c******i
