In the wake of new revelations alleging that governor Mitt Romney defied
Massachusetts' high court by rejecting birth certificates for gay parents,
it's no surprise that he doesn't believe homosexuals shouldn't have kids.
Romney is so against gay parenthood, that he did his best to sabotage the
future of those children born to gay parents during his governorship.

word "sabotage"? Well, most legitimate agencies will not accept a birth
certificate that has been altered, but that is just what the former governor
ordered hospitals to do, instead of having new birth certificate templates
created. He did this by defying the Massachusetts Supreme Court's decision
to allow the forms to be changed to read "father or second parent" instead
of simply "father."
Romney forced hospitals and other health agencies issuing birth certificates
to get permission from his office before allowing them to cross out the
word "father" and write in "second parent," which most health care
professionals and town clerks found unacceptable. What was needed were
revised printed forms, not an ability to cross out one word and write in
another. Think about it. If you were to apply for a driver license in
another state, and you presented what appeared to be an altered birth
certificate, that agency might determine your birth certificate had been
illegally altered and refuse to issue you any identification.
Julie Goodridge explained her anger toward Romney when he called her
biological daughter her "adopted daughter" during a conversation about why
he didn't think gays should be permitted to marry. He told her, "I don't
really care what you tell your adopted daughter. Why don't you just tell her
the same thing you've been telling her the last eight years."
This just proved two things: that Romney doesn't care about others, and that
he's a horrible listener. In 2005, when he was ruminating on the
possibility of running for president, he told South Carolina voters, "Some
gays are actually having children born to them. It's not right on paper. It'
s not right in fact. Every child has a right to a mother and father."
Prior to his time as governor, Romney seems to have genuinely not realized
that homosexuals were actually having children and becoming parents. The
revelation that this was true shocked and offended him, and the changes to
the birth certificates in Massachusetts didn't acknowledge children of same-
sex couples until after he was out of office and Democrat Deval Patrick was
in.
At every turn, Romney has attempted to subvert efforts to give equal
standing to LGBT couples. He attempted to define marriage as between a man
and woman while governor, and is calling for this same kind of
discrimination during his presidential bid.
These last days before the general election are more important than ever.
Mitt Romney is not only pro-business, anti-middle class and poor, but he's
also staunchly anti-gay rights. Think about it, this is a man whose religion
did not allow African Americans to join until 1978. By that time Romney was
31 years old, married, and a father. Institutionalized discrimination is
part of who he is, whether it's against women holding top level jobs, or
homosexuals seeking equality. | l**********p

The certificate is supposed to show the child's "biological parents".
But "surrogate" does make things complicated.

legalized gay marriage in 2003, the state Registry of Vital Records and
Statistics said it needed to revise its birth certificate forms for babies
born to same-sex couples. The box for “father” would be relabeled “father
or second parent,’’ reflecting the new law.

同性恋是否能够结婚还是不能结婚。美国总统的权力不是，毛时代的国家主席，没有那
么大，最后决定的还是美国老百姓。现在的选民结构，已经有超过百分之五十的人同意
同性结婚，十五年之内同性婚姻将会在美国合法，不信你就看者。

麻省早就让同性结婚了，老公老婆都变成party A 和party B。Romney只是看不惯因为
同性婚姻生孩子，所有人的出生证都得该成father or second parent。

我最反感的就是同性恋非要全宇宙承认他她们和异性恋一样正常1，
光是这种想法就极不正常和自信。
