Exquisite timing, we must say.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is suffering from a stomach flu,
which caused her to faint and sustain a concussion.
Deputy Assistant Secretary State Phillippe Reines issued the following
statement about Clinton: “She has been recovering at home and will continue
to be monitored regularly by her doctors. At their recommendation, she
will continue to work from home next week, staying in regular contact with
Department and other officials.”
Oh, she’ll be home all week? Guess she won’t be making that scheduled
December 20 Benghazi hearing. How convenient.
Reached for comment, Bill Clinton reportedly chuckled and added “we’ll,
she has no memory of Monica any more, so it’s all good.”
We’re not the only skeptics.
@jammiewf she probably fainted because Ambassador Stevens showed up as
the Ghost of Christmas to come.
