Saturday afternoon left a grandmother dead and several other people
hospitalized.
Police said a maroon Acura SUV plowed through a stop sign at the
intersection of West 5th Street and Quentin Road, slamming into and flipping
a Jeep Cherokee.
The Acura then went up on the curb and struck four members of a family who
were walking on the sidewalk, fatally hitting 60-year-old Chenugor Dao of
1663 West 5th Street in Brooklyn, police said.
The other victims on the sidewalk include Dao’s husband, her pregnant 32-
year-old daughter and her 1-year-old granddaughter, according to police.
