acquittal of George Zimmerman, four more people were murdered in Chicago on
Friday and Saturday, one of them an eight year-old-girl. In the Austin area
of Chicago, there were two murders on Friday. Eight-year-old Gizzell Ford
was killed by stranglulation and blunt trauma; the girl’s grandmother was
being investigated. In a second incident, 24-year-old Tommie Bates was
stabbed to death.
Two other men were shot to death over Friday night. Jeremy Morris, 25, was
shot to death as he sat in a car in the Bronzeville neighborhood around 11 p
.m. Fernando Sanchez, 25, was shot about 2 a.m. in the Humboldt Park
neighborhood.
There have been no reports of incipient riots over the incidents. | n****g
