Notice how CNN is not going to allow "the list" to pass "moderation"?
My question to Brown Sr. is to what "character" are you referring? The
character that steals what he wants? The character that shoves the much
smaller store clerk aside? The character that got agressive with the police?
I see character alright, and its not good.

Why isn't Michael Brown's step father in jail for promoting destruction and
looting in a sovereign city?

PEOPLE! We need to continue reposting this as our formal protest. The
stepfather needs to be held accountable for the rioting, looting and
destruction in Ferguson that night. If you see anyone post FOR arresting the
step father please upvote them. This needs to be visible.

Be careful. Brown had a father and a stepfather. I think it was the Step
father who said burn it down. Not the father.(this guy) Two different guys.

Father or stepfather, it does not matter.
What matters is that the idea of screaming "They crucified his character"
when this character robs a store, and tries to take down a cop. Of course
that was going to happen, what did they expect? Give him a hug and an award
for being an outstanding citizen of Ferguson?
Give me a break!
Bottom line here: Michael Brown crucified HIMSELF with his criminal actions.

I would only like to add that it is important to not confuse Brown's Father
and Stepfather. Brown's biological Father, seems like a reasonable,
respectable individual, and has conducted himself well during this event.
Many might know this, but, Brown's Father spent time last week giving out
Thanksgiving Turkeys with a local group, and has been a voice of reason in
many respects. Just sayin'.

Despite what Liberal Media tells you... This couldn't be my child as my
child is taught to respect law enforcement & never commit strong arm robbery.
Call my parenting crazy or old fashioned but you can't argue with success.

People would have a lot more respect for him and the rest of the crowd who
says this is racism if they just admitted the kid was way out of line.
Racist positions will worsen in this country if most of the black community
tries to blame whitey for each and everything. People like me look at this
saying - are you kidding me? This kid tried to take this cop out and you
people are crying foul? At that point I really can't listen to them anymore
as they are clearly not being rational.

Yes, the father was really trying but the undercurrent could not be stopped.
His voicing that the anarchy of his son is perfectly okay is not acceptable.

There should have been a trial...in which the accusation that he robbed the
store and pushed aside a clerk has to be PROVEN in a court of law. And since
they did not reveal exactly what Michael Brown said to Wilson, or vice
versa, said to each other at the car, we only have Wilson's word for it.
There is strong possibility he is lying about that to protect himself.

Lie. The vote was 9 white yes, 3 black no. Wasn't it convenient that there
were 9 whites and it only took 9/12 for a decision?

What the Brown family should be doing is consider the possibility that their
son was ill.
He was likely suffering from some kind of mental issue or under the
influence of something. To steal mini cigars and then take on an armed
police officer.
They would get better traction taking the case on if they pursued the
possibility that this was a police officer not trained properly to deal with
the emotionally disturbed.
That said, I don't think the officer was left with many options.

Benjamin Watson said this in his twitter...
At some point while I was playing or preparing to play Monday Night Football
, the news broke about the Ferguson Decision. After trying to figure out how
I felt, I decided to write it down. Here are my thoughts:
I'M ANGRY because the stories of injustice that have been passed down for
generations seem to be continuing before our very eyes.
I'M FRUSTRATED, because pop culture, music and movies glorify these types of
police citizen altercations and promote an invincible attitude that
continues to get young men killed in real life, away from safety movie sets
and music studios.
I'M FEARFUL because in the back of my mind I know that although I'm a law
abiding citizen I could still be looked upon as a "threat" to those who don'
t know me. So I will continue to have to go the extra mile to earn the
benefit of the doubt.
I'M EMBARRASSED because the looting, violent protests, and law breaking only
confirm, and in the minds of many, validate, the stereotypes and thus the
inferior treatment.
I'M SAD, because another young life was lost from his family, the racial
divide has widened, a community is in shambles, accusations, insensitivity
hurt and hatred are boiling over, and we may never know the truth about what
happened that day.
I'M SYMPATHETIC, because I wasn't there so I don't know exactly what
happened. Maybe Darren Wilson acted within his rights and duty as an officer
of the law and killed Michael Brown in self defense like any of us would in
the circumstance. Now he has to fear the backlash against himself and his
loved ones when he was only doing his job. What a horrible thing to endure.
OR maybe he provoked Michael and ignited the series of events that led to
him eventually murdering the young man to prove a point.
I'M OFFENDED, because of the insulting comments I've seen that are not only
insensitive but dismissive to the painful experiences of others.
I'M CONFUSED, because I don't know why it's so hard to obey a policeman. You
will not win!!! And I don't know why some policeman abuse their power.
Power is a responsibility, not a weapon to brandish and lord over the
populace.
I'M INTROSPECTIVE, because sometimes I want to take "our" side without
looking at the facts in situations like these. Sometimes I feel like it's us
against them. Sometimes I'm just as prejudiced as people I point fingers at
. And that's not right. How can I look at white skin and make assumptions
but not want assumptions made about me? That's not right.
I'M HOPELESS, because I've lived long enough to expect things like this to
continue to happen. I'm not surprised and at some point my little children
are going to inherit the weight of being a minority and all that it entails.
I'M HOPEFUL, because I know that while we still have race issues in America,
we enjoy a much different normal than those of our parents and grandparents
. I see it in my personal relationships with teammates, friends and mentors.
And it's a beautiful thing.
I'M ENCOURAGED, because ultimately the problem is not a SKIN problem, it is
a SIN problem. SIN is the reason we rebel against authority. SIN is the
reason we abuse our authority. SIN is the reason we are racist, prejudiced
and lie to cover for our own. SIN is the reason we riot, loot and burn. BUT
I'M ENCOURAGED because God has provided a solution for sin through the his
son Jesus and with it, a transformed heart and mind. One that's capable of
looking past the outward and seeing what's truly important in every human
being. The cure for the Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Eric
Garner tragedies is not education or exposure. It's the Gospel. So, finally,
I'M ENCOURAGED because the Gospel gives mankind hope.

Still a mental issue if it was drugs. Toxicology points to some marijuana.
So mental health would be more likely the issue than drugs.

So every cop now should be a trained psychiatrist? Are you serious?
My guess is he was high on something. Crack, meth who knows. It doesn't
matter to me. You take responsibility for this kind of stuff.

Yes actually. Most 1st world police forces are trained to deal with the
mentally ill and emotionally disturbed. Its common in many american police
forces as well.
A large percentage of what most police deal with are mental health issues.
What sane person robs a store for a few cigarillos and then takes on an
armed police officer. It doesn't mater if you are a minority or not.
If its framed as a mental health problem it will also reduce the wannabe
tough guys from following along with the behavior.

You've seen the video and still don't think he's guilty of robbing the store
? It's just as I thought… even if the entire Brown shooting were caught on
film, and it confirmed what Wilson said, the race-baiting racists out there
would still be saying Wilson murdered Brown. Stupid is as stupid does, just
like Forrest said.

Did you read the autopsy? The autopsy and the real witnesses backed up the
officer. The bruising on Wilson's face proof. The gun powder residue on MB
hand and inside the squad car. The autopsy results is proof of the lies told
by the other so-called witnesses statements.

Hey there,
Just wanted to say that the fact that Michael Brown robbed and pushed the
clerk aside does not have to be really "proven" since there is video
evidence of it. Knowledge is power and you are pretty weak.

If he hadn't beaten the hell out of a cop, there would have been a trial.
But, I'm not part of the legal system so, I don't have to call him innocent
until proven guilty. I have the luxury of saying that since the video
clearly shows him committing the robbery, he was GUILTY. And, I get to say
that, since the grand jury saw all of the evidence and didn't indict him,
there is very little possibility that Wilson is lying.
