Sorry it too so long to write but my internet was down all day until now.
I have been dealing with a medical malpractice and legal nightmare for
almost 14 years now.
It involves a sociopathic doctor, a corrupt judge, and violations of my
right to free speech, a fair trial, and a jury trial.
In November of 2001, a board certified Stanford-affiliated doctor operated
on more than a dozen of the wrong parts, damaging my knees, causing painful
and crippling injuries, and doing sick things like carving X's into my
hips, and damaging my calves.
I sued him for malpractice, and literally all the evidence was in my favor.
I could prove with his own records that he operated on parts I never
consented to surgery on. His lawyer didn't bother to refute anything, just
saying, "We deny her allegations". So I thought for sure I had won.
But the judge ruled against me, ordered me to pay the doctor's attorney's
fees. He was hostile to me, the victim of this horribly botched surgery.
I had to go through bankruptcy, I lost my business because I was so
depressed, and my daughter and I were evicted because I couldn't pay the
rent.
I was very suspicious about this judge, so I looked him up on the internet,
and found that he and the doctor are the same age, they both went to
Stanford, they have lived close to each other for 4 decades now, and more
recently found out they and their wives are members/contributors to a small
community organization near their homes. They are friends, and this was a
fixed trial.
I found out the judge met with my lawyer a few days before trial, and got
him to agree, behind my back, to no jury, no witnesses, no testimony, giving
the judge total power to rule in favor of the doctor, and against all the
evidence.
I was supposed to have a jury trial, and before I found out the judge was
corrupt, I told the judge my lawyer had waived my right to a jury trial
behind my back. But the judge ignored this, and in his ruling said, that I
"freely and intelligently waived my right to a jury trial" even though all
the evidence showed the opposite.
The judge ordered me to remove all posts on the internet about what the
doctor had done to me, threatening me with jail time if I didn't! This was
illegal and unconstitutional, but I didn't have the money to fight it.
When I found out the judge and doctor were friends who fixed the trial, I
posted on the internet about that. They have filed a contempt motion
against me and are seeking jail time. My only "crime" has been to blow the
whistle on these evil and corrupt men.
I have had 31 painful surgeries to fix this doctor's mistakes and still need
several more. I still cannot kneel down and have almost constant pain in
my knees. This moronic doctor removed a large section of my calves, and I
have to have artificial fillers injected into them to make them whole again.
This alone will cost about $225,000. I have had to work 7 days a week
including Christmas for 13 years now to pay for the medical and legal bills
. My adrenals have shut down from the extreme stress, and the stress has
gotten worse, knowing I might go to jail.
I need a lawyer to fight the contempt charge on the grounds that it is based
on an illegal and unconstitutional ruling. If I can get that original
ruling set aside, I can get a new medical malpractice trial. I want to
subpoena the phone records of the judge and doctor to prove they were
communicating before the trial. It will cost about $10,000 for a lawyer to
do all this.
I would be so grateful if people would donate for this cause, helping me to
fight for free speech, against corruption and against a sociopathic doctor
who has damaged other people and is still in practice. The corrupt judge
is still on the bench, too.
