and Muslims in general over Sharia Law and our 1st Amendment right of free
speech.
Muslims have scared people into silence around the world and Paris was a
real warning shot. If you do something they consider “offensive” they’ll
threaten to behead you. Their threats are not empty, they’re more than
willing to carry them out because, for 1,400 years, Muslims have been
butchering and enslaving their neighbors who refuse to bow to Sharia Law and
who won’t worship their pedophile prophet. This is not a trait with just
“radical Muslims” it’s feature of Islam.
Pam Geller is not afraid. Through her human rights advocacy group, the
American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) she’s taken on Islamists at
every turn.
AFDI sponsored the “Draw Mohammed” contest in Garland, TX recently in
response to a Muslim group who sponsored a pro-Sharia event at the same
location. Two young men who were described by their friends and family as
just average guys who love Mohammed went to Garland with slaughter in their
hearts. They showed up armed to the teeth but were met with a good guy with
a gun who dispatched both of them before they were able to do any real
damage.
The media went out of their way to blame Geller. Because the media are
cowards.
Well, Pam is at it again. This time it’s a billboard campaign.
The cartoon, the winning entry from Garland, drawn by a former Muslim, is up
on 100 billboards in the St. Louis area this week. You can expect it to be
coming to a city near you.
“Speech that is offensive to some must not be curtailed, but protected
(i.e., the Mohammed cartoons). Freedom of speech is the foundation of a free
society. Without it, a tyrant can wreak havoc unopposed, while his
opponents are silenced. If speech that offends a group is outlawed, that
group has absolute power, and a free society is destroyed. A group that
cannot be criticized cannot be opposed. It can work its will no matter what
it is, and no one will be able to say anything to stop it.”
That’s why the left works so very hard to shut down free speech. They can’
t win the argument so just shut up.
Currently 43 Democratic senators are co-sponsoring the constitutional
amendment introduced by New Mexico’s Senator Tom Udall to amend the First
Amendment so that it no longer protects political speech.
