A Las Vegas police officer reportedly received non-life-threatening injuries
after a gunman approached his squad car on Sunday and began firing in an “
ambush-style” shooting.
A suspect is in custody in the incident
This is the second shooting of a police officer in three days in Las Vegas.
A cop was shot in the leg on Friday while responding to a report of a
prowler. Since that incident, Las Vegas officers have been riding in pairs
in patrol cars, Sheahan said.

People in the US, you are about to find out what it is like to not have ANY
law enforcement protection. Then, while you're tearing yourself a part, you'
ll experience a REAL Police State. That's what it will take to get things
under control.
People complain about police shootings, wait until you have a platoons of
combat hardened, trigger happy infantrymen patroling the streets and
enforcing laws. Let's see how many thugs want to "ac a fool" then.
This is the product of this administration's policy of allowing the minority
populace to dictate, by riots, resistance, and flat-out civil disobedience,
their hatred for police, in general, and white people, as a whole. They
face very little retribution for their illicit actions. The Democratic
leaders in the affected cities, and the the whole country, act as if it's
perfectly o.k. if they crash and rob stores, confront police, and shoot
anybody they want, with near-impunity. | l******a
