Soon-to-be failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton agreed to a 25%
national tax on all guns sales, because it would disincentivize gun
ownership – she thinks.
Remember, only American royalty like the Clinton’s and other high-profile
celebrities should have armed protection!
Basically, this is Hillary in a recently uncovered video blathering about
what liberals do best – tax, tax, tax.
From Townhall:
American’s For Tax Reform is out with a new piece reminding voters of
testimony then First Lady Clinton gave back in 1993 when she called for a 25
percent tax on all gun sales. Although her statement was reported by
mainstream outlets at the time, it hasn’t been reported by any media outlet
for more than 20 years.
From ATR:
As she testified before the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee on Sept
. 30, 1993, Hillary Clinton was asked by Sen. Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) if she
supported the imposition of a new, 25 percent national sales tax on guns.
Clinton emphatically endorsed the tax, stating: “I am all for that.”
ATR President Grover Norquist’s take…
“Hillary’s 25 percent gun tax would discourage gun ownership and be a
backdoor route to gun registration,” ATR President Grover Norquist said
about the unearthed testimony. “Hillary has a long history of attacking gun
owners.”
Here’s Hillary last month in Iowa…
“We’ve got to do something about gun violence in America, and I will
take it on.”
This, coming from a woman who can’t manage to use two separate electronic
devices. |
