Rather than read the tired, old commentators like Maureen or George,
I got the millennial take today on Donald Trump from the WaPo's Catherine
Rampell.
CR says Trump's right. We are all big losers and that's why we want
a savior. The Chinese are beating us, the Mexicans are outfoxing us, the
Muslims are killing us.
Polls show Americans agree. We are the biggest losers, even though
we have unlimited long distance, more cable channels than ever and cars
smarter than a fifth grader.
But we are choked by PC and our little worlds are imploding on us.
You can't even attend the most banal of events, a public employee office
Christmas (oops holiday) party.
The colleges are full of hate, an if you think otherwise, you
best be shuttin' the pie hole.
There's little appetite for saying things are fine. It's a
grievance mood out there.
Ms. Rampell is my link to millennial thought, and now I get it.
Too late, maybe, but I get it. No more Maureen or George and their fuddy
duddy views.
I'm a loser and I'm not going to take it anymore !
