On July 28, Khizr Khan gave an emotional speech to the Democratic National
Convention in Philadelphia. His son, Humayun Khan, a US Army Captain, was
killed by a suicide car bomb in Iraq in 2004. The following section is the
part where Khan started to sharply attack the Republican presidential
candidate Donald Trump:
“Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son "the best of America." If
it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America. Donald
Trump consistently smears the character of Muslims. He disrespects other
minorities -- women, judges, even his own party leadership. He vows to build
walls and ban us from this country.
Donald Trump, you are asking Americans to trust you with our future. Let me
ask you: Have you even read the U.S. Constitution? I will gladly lend you my
copy. In this document, look for the words "liberty" and "equal protection
of law."
Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery? Go look at the graves of the brave
patriots who died defending America -- you will see all faiths, genders,
and ethnicities.
You have sacrificed nothing, and no one.
We can't solve our problems by building walls and sowing division. We are
stronger together. And we will keep getting stronger when Hillary Clinton
becomes our next president.”
Think about the speech’s words, and its real meaning. Is it just an
emotional speech? Or is it an informational speech telling you undeniable
facts? Parents love their own children, OK. When a politician called your
son “the best of America”, would all listeners take this as truth? If the
Khan family were coming into the USA at the 2000s, and Trump were U.S.
president at that time, the invasion into Iraq based on a dumpster of lies
from a bunch of Muslim exiles and American high-ranks might have never
happened, and the September 11th terrorist attack might have never happened,
and the high walls around the so-called Green Zone in Iraqis territory
might have never happened, and the barbed fence in Guantanamo Bay lawless
prison might have never happened, and the flood of refugees might have never
happened, and the slaughter of so many people for so many “reasons” might
have never happened. Back into reality, was Donald Trump the one pushing
for an invasion into Iraq? Was Donald Trump the one exciting your son for
the war in Iraq? Was Donald Trump the one making tons of private money after
the invasion? Was Donald Trump the one looting the ancient civilization?
Was Donald Trump the one having built the existent walls along the US-Mexico
border or on the Gaza Strip? If the Wikipedia story holds true, WHY would
the two Iraqi Muslims hate an American Army Captain Muslim so much and want
to just kill him by a SUICIDE car bomb at a casualty ratio of 2 to 1?
Donald Trump responded to some women, some judges, and some leaders, in the
political campaign way, symmetrically or non-symmetrically. What those
people really represent? Minority? Those people all have more power than a
commoner has. Counterattacking is a disrespect? Stretched from a disrespect
to some to as a “black soul” to all?
The US Constitution does not provide liberty or equality. It is basically a
document about power sharing within the power system. Outsiders have
something called Amendments. Does the US Constitution provide your land? Any
rights to any natural resources? Any tangible materials and methods for you
to survive and thrive? The Amendments is a record of American history
itself. Do you have the rights to drink tonight? Do you need the US
Constitution to allow you to drink? My words may sound so scathing, but do
these words tell you the beautiful lies? You prefer beautiful lies to cruel
facts?
The Arlington National Cemetery started during the American Civil War. Was
Robert Lincoln, the oldest son of President Lincoln, studying in Harvard, or
serving in the military, during the Civil War? Dare Mr. Khan to say
anything similar to President Lincoln? What Mary Todd Lincoln would
sacrifice? By shopping more luxuries during the war time? Many USA soldiers
died in oversea wars, for example, the Korean War, the Vietnam War. Was
Korea invading the USA? Was Vietnam invading the USA? It’s only because the
USA government system always takes the communism as its nightmare. The
Americans killed the Iraqi female scientist Chemical Ali. Are there many
female Chemical Ali’s in Saudi Arab, a USA ally in the Middle East? The
Saudi women can behavior as French women now? Did Donald Trump actually say
anything bad about the mother Khan? So, has the USA government ever taken
all faiths, genders, and ethnicities equal?
Stronger, together. It sounds great. Why Hillary wouldn’t pick Bernie
Sanders as her running-mate? Why Muslims wouldn’t stay together to be
stronger? Why humans wouldn’t stay together to be stronger? You tell me.
But let me say first, human history is a history of struggle, and struggling
within humans is part of the eternal struggle. | z****v
