President-elect Donald Trump met with rapper Kanye West at Trump Tower on
Tuesday.
“Just friends. Just friends,” Mr. Trump said as the two men emerged from
an elevator, calling Mr. West a “good man.” “We’ve been friends for a
long time.”
In response to questions, Mr. West said he just wanted to take a picture.
The world-famous performing artist has said he would have voted for Mr.
Trump this year, if he had voted.
Mr. West said at the MTV Video Music Awards last year that he’s decided to
run for president in 2020, but didn’t publicly discuss his potential
challenge to Mr. Trump on Tuesday. |
