attention to themselves), they should do it on their own time & expense…NOT
on the NFL’s time and with the fans as a captive audience.
The NFL owners’ response to President Trump is driven solely by political
correctness and their absolute FEAR of being labeled by the media, pop-
culture and the LEFT as “racist”. The First Amendment protects us from the
government restricting and/or putting limits on freedom of speech and
expression, NOT between an employer and employee, contractor, etc., within
the parameters of performing or carrying out one’s duties.
And in this situation, who exactly is being “divisive”…the POTUS who is
promoting our American allegiance, or those SPECIFIC PLAYERS who choose to
disrespect the National Anthem…not as private citizens but as NFL players
on the playing field? But no…players like Kaepernick, Curry, Maxwell, et
al, are so cool and hip.
