I am writing to you today to update you on the lawsuit we filed in 2014
against Harvard University and ask for your financial help going forward.
As you may recall, Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) is a nonprofit
membership organization with nearly 22,000 members from all across the
nation. As a membership group with academically outstanding Asian students
who were denied admission to Harvard, we have legal standing to bring this
lawsuit without the identities of any of these students being revealed to
the public.
During the last year or so, our lawyers interviewed nearly forty Harvard
administrators—including the president of Harvard and the dean of
admissions-- to learn about the school’s admissions policies. As you can
imagine, those depositions were very revelatory and important to our case.
As importantly, the judge in our case compelled Harvard to give us six years
of comprehensive admission data that our statistical experts have analyzed.
That report can not be made public right now, but we anticipate it will be
public in a few months.
It is my best estimate that this lawsuit will take another 2-3 years before
reaching the U.S. Supreme Court. And, without a doubt, these coming years
will be very time-intensive for our legal team. We have hired one of the
best small law firms in the nation and while they have discounted their
billing rates to us, this case is enormously expensive.
So, it is my hope that you will help us once again with a generous tax-
deductible donation to Students for Fair Admissions. I greatly appreciate

match.考虑到税改之后很多人可能要选standard deduction,就不能捐款抵税了。建议

发帖数: 101 | 22 Edward Blum represented Fisher in the Fisher vs UT Austin case, all the way
to the Supreme Court. Wonder why he did not brag about it on the website.
Although they did not win, they raised awareness of this injustice. Now
there are quite a few high profile cases coming up also...
No matter what you think of his motivation, he is doing something that
benefit us, our children. Now is our turn to show our support. I am donating
to SFFA, and I am nominiating it to our company’s list of elegable
organizations for matching gift.
I followed the Fisher vs UT news for quite a long time. There are a lot of
people who commented on the case. One type made me sick to my stomach. They
have Chinese last name, graduated from the elite schools, and they are
telling people, in a condescending way: this is just the way it is, AA is so
great, you are just collateral damages. I hope they get cancer.

俺家罗伯特在AA这种原则问题上也是非常右派。那句反AA名言就是他写的。 "The way
to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the
