1) Why can't I input Chinese in Pine?
2) How can I input Chinese in Netscape, such as post message
in bbs.mit.edu.

copy+paste, or install chinput, or use telnet to BBS

发帖数: 1879 | 3 1) I normally compose in pico, save to a file. Then in pine, press
^R to import the file into the current message.
2) Copy and paste. Use your left button to select texts in cxterm,
use the middle button to paste in Netscape.

you need to edit whatever character set in pine setups. I use iso-8859-1.
pine->setup->config->character set.
why not telnet. or you can install chinput or xcingb.
