I met a problem with our lab's mail server. It is on a Sun
oS 5.5 system. Today all the users in our lab can't recieve
and send email through the server. I just start to be the
administrtor. Some one with experience please give me some
advice. What would be the problem? The ex admin didn't do a
mail log. :( I reinstalled the sendmail, but it doesn't
work. Please give me some advice.

发帖数: 40 | 2 Try to telnet to mailserver at port 25 and test the send function manually.
telnet to 110 to try the pop func if you need.
That will tell you about sendmail.
Type "help"if you do not know send mail command after you login.
