I was trying to install j2sdk1.4.0 to /usr/j2se, but in the middle of the
installation, it says disk full.
What does it mean? Does it mean the partition of /usr is full? or is
/usr/j2se full? How can I handle this problem? Do I have to remove something

发帖数: 94 | 2 /usr is full, unless /usr/j2se is on another partition.
If you have any other partition with plenty of space, you can install
j2se there, and make a symlink from /usr, otherwise, removing some
stuff to make space.

发帖数: 32 | 3 I have removed something from /usr and have successfully installed JDK1.4.0
there. I have set the path, so I can compile Java code very well.
But I am wondering about one thing. When I use pkginfo | grep 'SUNWj', the
JDK1.4.0 packages do now show up. Does this matter?
