short/medium program while Emacs are more for text processing (like the latex
someone mentioned). Plus, vi is almost default in all UNIX/Linux machine you
could find while you have to install Emacs normally.
But the only thing matters is what you feel comfortable with, this also
related to which one you used at the beginning. For my case, I vote for vi. A
programmer or system admin more likely to use vi, maybe none of th |
