I wanted to install a gtk 2.0 in my home path because the system wide
installation is 1.2. If I install it under, say, $HOME/lib, how shall
I set various env vars to mask the system wide installation? Say,
I want to configure and compile galeon, what env vars and parameters
should I pass to ./configure script? Thanks. | a*******x

Try ./configure --prefix=/home/user
