Most of the VIJF venues are located in and around the downtown Vancouver
core and on Granville Island. VIJF headliners often perform as part of the
festival's Marquee Series at the Orpheum Theatre (884 Granville Street) and
the Vogue Theatre Series (918 Granville Street), as well as at Performance
Works on Granville Island. There are also outdoor concerts at Yaletown's
David Lam Park, on Granville Island, and at Robson Square (in front of the
Vancouver Art Gallery).
Free Concerts at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival 2012
One of the best things about the VIJF is the incredible number of free
concerts it features. Every summer, there are 100 - 130+ free VIJF concerts!
The 2012 VIJF starts with the two-day, free Downtown Jazz Weekend on June
23 - 24, 2012, featuring live music, food, art exhibits, kids' activities,
and more in downtown Vancouver's Robson Square.

Jazz Around Town - June 22 - July 1, 2012
Downtown Jazz Weekend - June 23 - 24, 2012
North Shore Jazz - June 22 - 24, & June 30, 2012
David Lam Park Jazz Weekend - June 30 - July 1, 2012
Granville Island Jazz on Canada Day - July 1, 2012
Vancouver International Jazz Festival at Vancouver Restaurants, Bars & Clubs
Live jazz and delicious food, cold beer or a cocktail is one of the greatest
combinations of my favourite things, which is why I particularly love VIJF'
s Club Series. The VIJF Club Series hosts jazz concerts at Vancouver
restaurants (like the Cajun-flavoured Ouisi Bistro in South Granville) and
nightclubs (including the Cory Weeds' Cellar Jazz Club and the Libra Room).
These concerts are often free (though you do have to buy food/drinks) or
just $5 - $15.
