Here is my situation. I got denied while backing to US a few days ago. I am very upset as to what to do now. The official said that it is mainly to the fact that I changed visa type, blala.. I came to US years ago with F1 visa type. After graduation, I got a job and successfully changed to H1b. For some reason, I change to F1 again last year into a Phd program. I visited my relatives a few days ago in Canada, as I learned that traveling within 30 days, no visa applic |

Maybe because my last visa stamp was for H1B.
Before I went to Canada, HR did tell me if I get denied, I can not go to the
US Consulate in Canada for a visa interview; I have to go back to China for
the interview. No sure if it is true. |

发帖数: 459 | 7 I know his/her case is different from mine. My point is he/she might have to
go back to China to apply for a new visa because he/she was denied at the
boarder; he/she may not be allowed to go to the US Consulate in Canada for
the visa interview. This is what my company's immigration attorney said; may
not be right though.
