I am on a business trip at Germany. And the H1B visa application result
turns out to be "requiring administrative processing and/or additional
clearances". The consular officer did not require any more documentation
from me and just let me wait for their decision. The kept my passport. The
key code for the processing is 221 (g)
Anyone has any experience similar to me? How long usually the waiting would
be?

约了下个月上海的h1b，现在要考虑是不是要回去冒着个险

如果不敏感,但是你很久没有回国了,也很大的机会被check
关键是没有一个fixed time frame when that Administrative Processing could be
finished.
在国内被check还可以,毕竟有家里人.像我这样再canada被check了,就很惨了.

你可以到checkee.info去报到，也可以了解一下其他人的情况

you don't have emergency don't go back. If traveling for leisure, you won't
feel relaxed until you have Visa in hands. |
