Hmm, there are really lots lots of party at new year eve, but all the bars
and clubs are trying to kill you on that night, charging about $150 ~ $300,
plus, there are really not much chinese in that kind of party, so ...
Recommendation: In DC, there will be a Free party at the mall on new year eve,
there will be concert performance and Firework, cold though...
At baltimore, there will be some cheap party at convention center, about $10,
plus you can see the firework at inner harbor...

In DC, Mall特指从lincoln mem 到capitol hill的那快长方形区域
There will be a big Y2K celebration on 12/31/99 (Friday) in DC co-organized by
the White House, DC Government, National Park Service, and Smithsonian
Institution. The event will start from 11:00 am till midnight. The president
and
vice president will be there too.
It is estimated 100,000 to 500,000 people
