no doubt, both are very good schools in howard county but centennial is just
getting old. most communities around river hill school district were built
after 1995, much newer than centennial in avg.

忽略。单从SAT成绩看，centennial应该是第一。如果你还有其它的RESOURCE显示2010
SAT成绩river hill是第一，拿出来咱们可以探讨一下。

getting old too, not much new development is going on, and the location is
not as good as river hill, imho.

OK, let us forget about SAT, even though, in my opinion, Centennial beats
Riverhill High in all three categories. There is another test called "
Advanced Placement (AP) Test". In AP tests, the performance of Centennial
High is much better than Riverhill High. You can find related info from the
hcpss link I provided in previous post.
I would say Riverhill is trying to catch up Centennial. So far, it is still
No. 2 in Howard County, and Centennial is the No.1.

1) 2007, river hill beat centennial in SAT in the criteria they used (not median
, or # of participants), no such update since 2007 using the same crtieria;
2) MD state-wide 2010 (non SAT) ranking, river hill is #4 while centennial
is #16;
3) below, from 2004-2005 and 2009, river hill is ranked ahead of centennial.

选学区就是选择孩子的盆友是谁，仅此而已。
从这一点上，howard县的好几所高中都不错。各有利弊。

友。在中小学，朋友之间的影响是巨大的。
