I was able to do some shopping in Great Wall. My first impression is the
parking lot is too small. Today is just Friday, and I already had a hard
time finding a parking space. Let alone weekends!
This supermarket is a bit smaller than the one in Virginia, but it is still
larger than Kam Sam and Maximum combined. The pricing is great, and
everything seems to be pretty fresh, as you can imagine on its first day. So
Kam Sam or Maximum will be doomed. Food court is small, and choices are
limited.
This store is right next to 355, a busy street. This can be a problem.
Thanks to Great Wall Market, I expect to see much more traffic on 355.
There are a lot elderly Chinese walking cross 355 today. That was a scary
scene.
Some good deals: 2.99$ on live Tilapia, 1.99 on live Crab. | p*****h

发帖数: 30 | 4 True, but most Chinese will choose Chinese grocery stores over Korean's in a
heartbeat. Korean Stores just don't offer those items we want. Also Great
Wall will benefit from its location. It is in the heart of downtown
Rockville. So it is pretty easy to get to.
Parking may be the greatest disadvantage working against Great Wall. There
is no easy solution.
