Another option is to buy from online like tirerack, and have them ship
directly to the shop of your choice.
Do not buy high end tires from small shops, they can be old.

either Sam's club or a shop in Rockville across street from the Chinese
body shop near teh metro station. I think I had better luck with Sam's club,
they did a better job. I think Costco won't instal tires not purchased from
them, but Sam's club would, at least that's when I used them a long long
time ago. The installation runs about ~$15 per tire.
