need to be fixed and I have not used it for a while...
it seems there will be a big fine from MVA if not returning the plate... any
way to avoid it?

车牌？如果不想继续使用，把车牌送到或邮寄到DMV不就完了？

了，而且你退车牌也没有钱退回来啊

在别州，法律规定，没有保险，不能上路。我外州的车牌，从来没还过，都扔了。

我以前的一个客人，外派欧洲一年半，车子停在车库里，有车牌，但把保险取消了直到
他回来。在外派期间回来，公司给他租车。
很多情况下，只要说明一下，不会有问题的。
