标 题: 旧车能不能做tramission flush?

是不是旧车不能做flush，做了可能会让变速箱变坏？
我的车是2001 Honda Odyssey,前车主买过来的时候tramission fluid很脏，我立刻做
了fill&drain。开了大概1年，6000mile，现在又脏了，现在我是应该做tramission
fill&drain还是flush呢？

6k miles definitely too early.

他说tramission fluid必须是dealer那里的，但是单独去dealer那里买tramission
fluid很贵，不知道是否可以买autozone或者advanced autoparts的tramission fluid。

发帖数: 4125 | 8 I drain and fill once a year, fluid cost about $6 per qt at the dealer.
But if you don't drive very hard, every 30K should be fine.

发帖数: 832 | 12 Honda's tranny is easy to maintain due to the honda's design, but you need
to also buy/replace the washer (cost about 1 dollar or two at dealer).
Change tranny oil is much more difficult,you need to take out parts first.
It is a easy job, priced at 99$ at Honda dealer (for my 2007 Honda civic),
but if you do it yourself, it only cost less than 30 bucks.

So here are a few more details regarding the tranny in your van.
Extended Warranty on Automatic Transmission (TSB 02-062) – A higher than
normal incidence of transmissions have defects in material and workmanship
and warranty is extended to 7 yrs 9 months (93 months) or 109,000 miles (175
,000 kms) which ever comes first. Ensure ATF lines and fittings are flushed
of debris before installing the remanufactured transmission. The
remanufactured transmission has new inside components with a used casing. An
external filter should be installed in the ATF return line, under the
battery. http://techinfo.honda.com/Rjanisis/pubs/SB/A02-062.PDF
ATF (Honda ATF Z-1) drain and fill recommended at least every 30,000 miles (
48,000 kms) and strongly suggested every 15,000 miles (24,000 kms). I have
installed a Magnefine ATF external filter http://www.emergingent.com/magnefine/order_page.htm in the return line since there is NO ATF filter.

If you are really concerned about this, I would do several drain and refill
now, since each drain and refill can only replace about half of the fluid,
if you do 4 drain and refill, you replace about 95% of the fluid (drive a
little bit between each drain and refill, make sure if shift through all
gears), but you really need to install a inline filter. (especially if you
see a lot of small piece stuck to the drain bolt, wipe clean before you put
back).
