一直犹豫不知道该不该写，不写真是很憋闷。这场悲剧里面的missing pieces 是任何
熟悉自闭症特殊教育的人都能一眼看到的，就象警察在几个小时后表示找到了相当有力
的证据，他们早就明白是怎么回事，然后就不再提这碴。现在各方面就尽量往
misterious mental illness上靠，摘掉其中责任，再加以时日让人们淡忘。
这Adam就是一个典型asperbers, 我们却没有看到任何有关特教干预的报道，同学们只
知道他是沉默而不能接近的。他陷得越来越深，走得越来越远却没有任何学区social
group support。正常的case,从他上小学开始，一种是在special setting class里，
然后pull out 上正常班的课；另一种上正常班的课，每天上有特教的social课，每年
做评测。他为什么没有得到support? 因为他是asperbers, 学业能够跟上，能够照顾自
己不会给学校惹麻烦。Asperbers 是在自闭症特教最有争议，也是引起家长和学校无数
官司的。学区常常的原则就是能不管就不管，有本事你家长打官司，你赢了官司我们再
管。我推测他的asperbers也是在上中学问题严重时才得鉴定，但已太晚。自闭症的
social干预是越早越有效，基本上就对神经系统的刺激，象消融冰雪一样一点一点。见
过许多严重的case在三四岁没有冷暖疼痛或者语言的，在多年干预以后都得到很大的改
善，所以自闭症组织要摘清自闭症和暴力的关系，但这些都是有特教管的情况。以前没
有特教干预年月这些人基本上就是被家人送到institution终老，象疯人院一样，也许
连兄弟姐妹都不知道还有这号人。所以，常常会有人说以前为什么没有自闭症，因为他
们没有活在你的视野里。但是，当他16岁实在不能再适应时，无论时public school 还
是home school 都太晚了，他的social pieces很难再补上，冰越结越厚，是否聪明学
业如何已经没有意义。
他的父母没有在早期和学区fight，后来再homeschol就是一错再错。父亲离婚基本用钱
买断自己的责任，哥哥离家给自己get a life，网路暴力游戏，剩下挣扎还没有安全感
妈妈还教他用枪。无论家里还是社会，他该有都没有，不该有的都有了。我们还能期盼
看到什么结果，不是自残就是残人。
试着猜测一下他们母子最后和学区可能fight什么，可能什么最后导致他的崩溃。联邦
法律对于残疾是要求学区管到21岁，有些州对有学习能力的，学区要管到26岁。 然后
归政府管医疗和住有人照顾的grouphouse，如果愿意和父母住就由政府每个月补贴一些
钱。
她妈妈原来是希望儿子能够自立的，也从老公那要些钱做母子后半生的保障。但后来他
越来越严重，自立是不行了，所以想和学区fight把他归在残障里，至少她妈妈不在了
还有人管他。这样学区多要花很多钱，board不同意，学区就是这样能不花钱就不花钱
，不然你打官司。而他的确是应该归残障里，他无法对自己负责任。这么多年如果学区
给他提供了特教干预，他绝不会走到今天。到了最后其实没有人能把他拉回来，门基本
上关上了。他定然也为自己的愈来愈糟状态担忧，回到最初把他划在特教之外的sandy
hook小学，这位死去的心理医师定然时是当年给他做评测定性的人，他希望他们能改了
当年的错，但他们为了维护学区的利益拒绝了他。最后一点希望没了，就崩溃了。
我相信这个Newtown的人早明白了前因后果，因为School Board里都是镇子的人，所以
才会有那个死去的特教aid父母 把捐助都送给自闭症组织，才会有受害父母原谅凶手。
媒体和了解特教的也都明白了，但大家都是在这system里的人，system出了问题，代价
也是惨痛的。美国人也是很要面子的 。 |

It is not the sole and ititial cuase, but of course it is one of the real
causes, and perhaps the most critical cause. If his mom does not have guns,
this tragedy might not happen.

been saved, those teachers and kids would have been saved as well.
Even if guns were banned and known violators were locked up, as long as the
system refused to take care of the troubled kids properly, similar tragedies
would be bound to happen because the failed educational system might be the
root of the problem and the one that keeps failing the kids.

网络游戏和枪是家长不负责任；没有给他应有的特教干预，是学区的责任，都是造成悲
剧的原因。如果真想我推测那样，学区对他的拒绝就是压垮他最后一根稻草。但这里面
没有人提及学区的责任，他妈妈和school board fight 不是一两天的事了，school
board 都是镇子里百姓，用来control school budget. 他们如果拒绝了他，现在心里
都明白发生了什么事，但不能说。还有那侥幸逃脱的第四个人，没有人再提到她，她应
该完全知道他们那天在争执什么。我推测她很有可能就是那个全班被杀的老师，因为死
的是临时代课老师，她那天没来。而可疑的事，她的学生和aid几乎全部被杀，她却彻
底消失，连孩子们葬礼都没有人能reach到她。没人是傻子，这么简单的事，还都想不
到吗？只不过，不再能说，因为小镇拒绝帮助他。一点猜想。
他家的钱相对他的自闭症教育和后半生的保障就是nothing, 他父母和学校耽误了他。
所以，他要回到唯一能对他有帮助的小学，他认为在那儿的时间是造成他后来结果的根
源。实在没时间再写了。 |

But look at what the killer's mon did:
一些邻居反映，南希对儿子“过度保护”，当有人拜访她家时，她几乎从不让对方进入
她的家中。南希的这些举动可能引发了儿子的仇恨情绪。
Now I actually believe that if the killer was born in a poor family where
the parents have to work, the tragedy might have been avoided, because his
mom would not have time to over protect him from contacting people.
Remember What's eating Gilbert Grape? In the movie, there is a mentally
disable teenager name Arnie. Well, he might not have the capacity to use a
gun and kill people in the first place, but still we can learn a lot from
the interaction between him and his family and other people in the town.
Arnie is lucky, because he has a big family who not only love him, but also
take care of him in the right way.
Another thing people might have ignored is, the killer in the recent
elementary school shooting was 20 and the killer in the Virginia Tech
massacre was 23. That's the age for a male who really needs to be in contact
with female. If that needs were suppressed, they might lack of proof of
self-existence and start to hate people and society in return.
To summarize, we are all social creatures and the education and parenting
system must nurture that aspect of our needs properly to prevent more people
from being anti-social.

标 题: 讨论禁枪的不协调音

说实话我比较疑惑为什么大家在这个时候主要关心的是禁抢这个无解的议题，或许最终
还是沦为政客手中博弈的砝码罢了。
看了关于枪手的一些消息我脑海中就想到几个小朋友的形象，一个是一年前我看的一个
新闻里一个Asperger Syndrome小朋友，不和小朋友讲话，但是安静很乖，在学校里被
几乎全班的小朋友欺负，tease，嘲笑，然后他的妈妈愤然将他退学并且爆料到电视台
去，在采访中那个激动的妈妈紧紧的搂着儿子，而儿子面无表情似乎随时都会挣脱逃跑
的样子。另外更加贴近我的是我儿子的一个从K开始的好朋友，虽然没有得到确认但是
我心里觉得可能也有Asperger的症状，今年一年级他和我儿子在不同的班了，但是仍然
每天recess都在一起玩，他的话里有的时候映的是他对很多事物的不喜爱或憎恨，但是
他也有自己执着喜欢的东西，但是明显是很多小朋友无法与之共享的，比如不停的收集
和谈论石头，尽管都是十分普通黯淡的。最让我震惊的是他的同班同学里的部分男生公
开tease他，叫他dumb head，并且在playground有意无意的撞他。这个小朋友说他没有
朋友，我儿子是他唯一的朋友，我们家是他见过最棒的house。我听了挺难过的，这的
孩子内心里充满的都是孤独感。
无论是康州的枪手，还是很多之前的很多，都是明显的孤独客，无论内因或外因，他们
在生活中无法被人接纳，渐渐对整个世界产生憎恶感，或许是走上同归于尽道路的原动
力。而我看到的这些小朋友，如果他们的孤独延续，他们会不会长大后也变成内心冷酷
的人呢？我们绝对需要要求自己的孩子尊重每一个人，绝对不能欺负能力上不如你的人
，理解不说话的小朋友可能是shy或者其他原因，就算你觉得wierd也不可以bully他。
甚至，我觉得我们要主动帮助他们与人交流，他或许可以和你一样的bright。
记得有这样一部电影叫Mary and Max，里面有一位自闭症患者，无法理解正常人的调侃
，玩笑，手势，于是他需要经常查他的reference才能明白别人的意思。幸好的是虽然
他把自己关在一个小屋子里没有朋友，他的内心还是温暖有爱的，因为远方有个小姑娘
用纯真的心灵在于他交流。
所以这个周末我要安排儿子和他的那个小朋友playdate，来我们这个“最棒的house”

1998 他六岁时他们家搬到newtown,前两天州长证实他上的是sandyhook。这个心理医生
从1994年到现在一直在这个小学。你也知道一个小学就一个心理医生。我推测的部分都
有注明。剩下的都证实的消息。
警方说他在案发前两天去sandy hook 和四名学校staff 发生争执，第二天他企图在
Danbury买枪未果。第三天，案发时与其有争执的三人身亡，第四人当时不在而幸免。
这都是警方原话。其实这个争执是关键，而现在都避而不谈。 |
