I wanted to again send out my invitation for you and your family to join us
for a barbeque, pool and volleyball party at my house a week from this
Saturday, July 23rd starting at 4:30 PM. So as not to scare off your loved
ones, yes, there will be good volleyball for those interested, but the
emphasis will be equally focused on barbeque and pool (guys, no Speedos).
Now I know volleyball players have a reputation for being shy (or is it that
we're procrastinators?) and perhaps that's why I've only received one or
two RSVP's, but we're expecting good whether, a good time and a big bonfire
in the fire pit with smores for all a little later in the evening. Your
personal invitation is enclosed, so don't be shy. I'm looking forward to
meeting everyone's family and breaking in the new volleyball court at the
