Make sure you can pass through their firewall to connect to their Exchange
server. Only Exchange 2003 can pass through firewalls (using Web-based
synchronization)

If you can VPN into their network, you should be fine. Outlook 2000/XP can
sync with Exchange 2000 inside intranet (or over VPN). You must have a valid
active directory domain account to access Exchange server.
I was saying if you want to sync over web using Outlook 2003 on your client
PC, you must have Exchange 2003 w/ Windows 2003 Server on the server side and
the server must enable HTTP access.
