That's called productivity growth. Recessions generally end with high
productivity growth that carries on into the initial few quarters of the
recovery. See paper:

I don't understand the jobless+creditless recovery, hehe.

much as it wants to believe it is. So it is all of a game of confidence,
animal spirit and herd behavior. It is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Although if the fundamental didn't really improve, it won't take much for
the same people from "let's party" mode to go back into "duck and cover"
mode. All it needs is one tipping point. There are at least a dozen things
could go wrong at this moment (e.g. inflation, bond yield, etc

跟老板去volunteer。因为只是听到一个，两个谣言而已。我们公司历年很少很少裁人
的。万一年底没有，到了明年后年有雷奥夫时，老板再想起这码事，那时我又不必回家
了，就亏了。好歹这也是份钱（相对）多，活少，离家近的优差。现在每天都要反复犹
豫，跟老板谈还是不谈，生怕错过他们make decision的阶段。 |
