first name of the interviewer), I am an optimization guy, I have been doing
optimization for the past XX years. I believe that the type of the
optimization work that I do can apply to a wide variety of applications at
Company XYZ. |

do not match the position very well. You can try to persuade
them by relating your past skills to the job duty.
