老板年终评估给满分,现有一更高职位空却。我已经在做该职位的活。但老板不同意给
升职,理由是领导能力不够。问题是该职位并不需要领导别人。现在正在请该职位,说
如果请不到会考虑我。实在是不想再找工作。请达人指点该如何做。是继续在这做,如
果请了别人,就继续做本职工作;如果请不到,可能还能轮到我?还是应该现在就另找
。谢谢,

Have you considered this: What your boss is telling you is most likely true.
If he is right, then by changing a job you are not changing anything. If he
is not right, then prove him wrong. You can have a discussion with him if
you think he had the wrong impression, or you could improve your own work.
At minimum, you should ask him where you need improvement. You cannot run
away forever.

Thank you for your comments.
She (the bigger boss) mentioned about leadership. My direct supervior said
they want me to be a "wacky" person. They recognized my quality of work and
that's why they gave me the 100 point in the annual performance review. The
problem is I can work hard and deligently, but by nature I'm soft and quiet.
The other problem is leading the other people (one with senior title) in
the absence of the supervisor, which occurce maybe couple times a year. Do
you usually see a staff leading a senior? My thought is that you need to
give the authority (title) to someone and then the person can lead, in this
case, occasionally. Not the other way around.

再找属于瞎折腾。
显然你老板对你非常满意,且这个职位如果真找不到人,也有可能让你试着看看。
静观其变。

Thank you all for your thoughts and comments.
I know it sounds they're pretty satisfied with my performance and I should
be happy about that. What I worry is that they just want me to stay in that
position and I'll be stuck there forever.
I would like to 静观其变. But I sense that my supervisor took back some work
that I can handle. I think they might want to keep it and handover to the
possible new person.
I really just work couple hours a day yearround except for couple months. So
I don't need to take the break. Otherwise, I can enjoy 年底活不忙赶紧歇歇.
I like to work as long as I'm in the office and not over time. I think the
more you work, the more experience you gain, which is good for your resume.

Senior II (the open position) > Senior > Staff
staff is in the bottom. The senior I mentioned handles different things.
There's no Senior for my track.
