Kanwal Rekhi is an Indian-American businessman.
He was borned during British-India in 1945 at Rawalpindi (now in Pakistan),
after partition they settled in Kanpur, India.

He is credited as the first Indo-American Founder & CEO to take a venture-

Vivek Ranadive

speaker and philanthropist.
Introduction :
Vivek Ranadive was borned on October 7, 1957.
Ranadivé grew up in the Juhu area of Bombay (now Mumbai), India.
He was the youngest of three children.
At 16, Ranadivé was accepted to MIT.

In 1970s, at the age of 16 Vivek was selected for MIT where he successfully
completed his Bachelors & Masters degree.
After MIT, he joined Harvard University in 1983 & completed his MBA.
He was titled Baker Scholar at Harvard University.
Industry Profile :
While still in college at MIT, Ranadivé started his first company, a UNIX
consulting company.
He also held management and engineering positions with Ford Motor Company, M
/A-Com Linkabit and Fortune Systems immediately after college.
Teknekron Corp., a technology incubator, provided $250,000 in seed capital
to Vivek Ranadivé in 1985; in 1986, Teknekron Software Systems was born.

Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association.
On May 16, 2013 it was announced that the Ranadivé lead ownership group
came to an agreement with the Maloof family to purchase 65 percent of the
Kings for approximately $348 million and will keep the Sacramento Kings in
Sacramento.
At the 2012 World Economic Forum in Davos, Ranadivé, along with WEF’s
founder and chairman Klaus Schwab, launched TopCom, a private social network
for world leaders.
In 1999, Ranadivé published The Power of Now with a foreword by Sun
Microsystems co-founder Scott McNealy which details how winning companies
sense and respond to change using real-time technology.
The book was a New York Times bestseller.
In 2006, Ranadivé published The Power to Predict with a foreword from FedEx
founder Frederick W. Smith which explores how companies can break new
ground in their quest to anticipate customers’ needs, capture new
opportunities, and predict and avoid problems.
The book was an international bestseller and was profiled in Forbes, Harvard
Business School and The Wall Street Journal‘s SmartMoney.
In 2011, Ranadivé published The Two-Second Advantage: How We Succeed by
Anticipating the Future–Just Enough, which reveals how our understanding of
human mastery is being applied to the way computers “think.”
The book was a New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller
and was reviewed positively by David Stern and Marc Andreessen.

Ajaypal Singh Banga is the current president and chief executive officer of
MasterCard.
Introduction:
Banga was born into a Sikh family in Khadki outside Pune, Maharashtra in
India.
His father was an army officer, retired lieutenant-general Harbhajan Singh
Banga who is a decorated army general of Indian Army.
The family’s origin is from Jalandhar in Punjab.
He is also the younger brother of another well known CEO M S Banga.
MasterCard announced on April 12, 2010 that Ajay Banga, previously
MasterCard’s president and chief operating officer, had been named by the

Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Introduction:
Vijay Mallya born on 18 December 1955 in Bantwal, Dakshina Kannada,
Karnataka.
He is an Indian industrialist and a second-time member of India’s
parliament.
He has a diverse interests in brewing, distilling, pharmaceuticals, real
estate, engineering,fertilizers, biotechnology and information technology.
He is the son of industrialist Vittal Mallya. He took over as the chairman
of the company at the age of 28 after his father’s sudden demise in 1983.

was appointed House Captain (Hastings house) in his final year.
He went up to St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, from which he graduated with a

with Greater Noida having hosted the first Indian Grand Prix in 2011.
Force India won their first Formula One world championship points and podium
place when Giancarlo Fisichella finished second in the 2009 Belgian Grand
Prix, Force India scored points again in the following race when Adrian
Sutil finished fourth, and set the team’s first fastest lap, at the Italian
Grand Prix. Its best championship result was 6th in 2011.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is a cricket team based in Bangalore, Karnataka

In March 2009, Mallya bought five personal belongings of Mahatma Gandhi (his
iconic eyeglasses, a pocket watch, leather sandals he had made by hand, and
a plate and bowl from which he had eaten his last meal) for US$1.8 million
in a New York auction that had caused an uproar in India; the government of
India had tried and failed to prevent the sale.
Awards:
Vijay Mallya was conferred an honorary degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in
Business Administration, by the Southern California University for
Professional Studies of Santa Ana, California.
In 2010 he was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award at The Asian
Awards.
He has also been a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” by the World Economic
Forum.
