Rough plan is:hiking cross the Grand Canyon and camp for one night?
Total 3 days from Salt lake city and back.
The time is about from middle June to middle July.(It need a fairly long
time to apply the permit)
It must be a terrific trip.

there, 4 days' hiking and 3 days' rafting. Might be too much for us...

Damn it, my father got rejected for visa too.
not sure about the second try yet.
have to consume my vacation days in July.

I was considering first Russia ,then Europe,and after knew how much it will
cost(>70$$/day) then dreaming of opportunity of conference in the unknown
future to travel.
And one reason is I can't find a partener to go with.
maybe we can go there together.
But if we go there,at least 20 days I think,

How much will it cost you if you travel in US?
Actually travel in Europe is cheaper than in US. And you don't need
to schedule a huge plan. Maybe 4~5 days in one place? The air ticket
is cheap. The only problem we have is the visa.

Actually travel in Europe is cheaper than in US. And you don't need

This includes ererything ,like film and develope.
If exclude the film and all luxury (like gift)
I would say 50 $ per day if living in your car and no friends' accomodation
available along the way. .
For hotel,it cost me $40 in Canada and $70 in Alaska(that time I don't know
Hostel.
Hostel in NY and Wasington is $28-38 in SLC is about $20.
if take Greyhound,much cheaper.about $250 for 2 weeks pass,you can go any
where you want.

SLC to N.Y.
From whitehorse开到florida you can check the schecule in Greyhound.com
and u can sleep in Greyhound.
If you drive,u can sleep in ur car in the rest area in the rest area.

Then it was frozen again.
It is on the way,will be ready soon. So the next question is when is suitable
for us.

a little bit rest on July 14.)
if my parents could come, i'll go with them to yellowstone and CA.
if not, i am hoping i could match you guys' schedule.
xixi, sorry for so much inconvenience..
July 4 to July 6, i might go to Missouri, but multiple destination ticket
seems to be way higher than the simple round trip ticket. so not sure yet.
so much unsure things.. just ignore it if that's complicated to plan
how many days are you planning? h

2 days trip ,Sat and Sun.
Start from Jun. 8 or 15 or 22, depends on the availability of the camp site.
My plan is as follow :
We will have 2 car and enter the canyon from the south and north then exchange
the car keys besides the Colorado river.and get together near north of Grand
canyon.
It is about 7 hrs' drive and 6 hrs' hike per day.
The whole hiking route is 23.5 miles,assume 2 miles/hr at average.
Now I have 4 poeple but I will reserve 8 and I think I can find them.

not. (i won't know it for sure until May 30.)
if they won't come, i may bribe you guys to wait for me.
but at this point, i can't even bribe... xixi
so basiclly, just go ahead to plan without me
