I believe these are the European version (like the ones in the Woot sale
last month). My Euro one works fine; however, I did read reports of some
people having trouble with the transfer disc (wrong region coding?) but if
you have Xbox Live you do not need the disc, the latest dashboard update can
do the transfer for you. This is only $5 more than the Woot sale so it's
pretty good. As far as using these with the Slims, I do not know, that is
for you to google.
