return the favor. This is my first post and hope it is worthy.
I needed a new engine hoist today, the Torin hoists from Advance Auto Parts
always treated me well. They typically are $229. They did not have any on
the showroom floor (Orlando, FL area) but had the hoists in back now. When
they looked up the manufacturer's p/n (T32001), the items came up
DISCONTINUED and priced at $26.95. Looks like the manufacturer's p/n are
the same for the old and new models, but the old models have a different SKU
number (9040044). Hopefully your local AAP has these in stock. From what
the folks in the store said, engine hoist purchases are rare.
Again...the items were marked as DISCONTINUED so YMMV. I had stopped by a
few other AAP's in the area, and the p/n rang up the same 26.95, but they
had none in stock.
